NC State Fair Part 3: Worth the Wait

After all of the livestock shows, we hit the fair. Our favorite things at the fair are the food, ferris wheel, Village of Yesteryear, garden, and exhibits. My favorite was the pretzel wrapped hot dog with cheese and bacon on top. Isaac loved his pretzel. Mom loved her fried cheese. Dad liked his shrimp and grits on a stick. Gideon chowed down on a turkey leg. We also had smoothies, poutine, ribbon fries, coconut pie doughnut, and more. Don’t judge our faces when eating!

The NC State Fair is the highlight of our October and always greatly anticipated. While we spend most of our time there in the barns, we also love exploring all of the fair.

After more than 10 days in Carolina, it was time for me to catch a plane back to Nebraska. It doesn’t escape me how blessed I am to be able to go home for the NC State Fair. Grateful heart.
